Vineyard Notes
The Matcheoss vineyard lies to the western side of Greenock Greek and is the source of grapes for this wine. The vineyard is situated in deep red soils that slop gently to the east.
Winemaking
The grapes were fermented in small batches and after fermentation was matured in 50% new French oak for 20 months prior to bottling. Minimal intervention is used in the winemaking process and the wine is moved the minimal times prior to bottling and is not cold stabilised or filtered.
