Tasting Note
Very dark, dense, saturated colour; lashings of coconutty vanillan charry oak on the nose, with ironstone and mocha. Massive wine, full-bodied and dense. Concentrated and power-packed, dark chocolate on the finish and cocoa, espresso coffee, long, and the tannins are emphatic but supple and balanced.

Winemaking
The grapes were fermented in small batches and after fermentation was matured in 50% new French oak for 20 months prior to bottling. Minimal intervention is used in the winemaking process and the wine is moved the minimal times prior to bottling and is not cold stabilised or filtered.
