Opaque core, dense ruby red rim. Blueberry, raspberry, vanilla pod and dark chocolate aromas. Full and weighty, velveteen as it glides across the tongue with a density and power that fills every corner of the palate. That aromatic profile is mirrored on the palate, all singing in harmony while fine and persistent tannins work at the edges to ensure it never spills over and loses focus. Prodigious length, riding along with depth and power. It does eventually come to a gloriously plush but focused finish Stuart Knox 97 Points The Real Review 06 Feb 2025

  • Vineyard Notes

The Richardson Vineyard lies on the boundary between Greenock and Moppa and marks the shift from deep loamy soils to outcrops of quarts and fractured ironstone.  The vineyard was dry grown for many years but is steadily being revitalised since Brett and Elaine took over the property.  The grapes for this wine come from the stonier soils of the “Top” block and the best parcel and barrels are reserved for the Goldfeld.
