Vineyard Notes
Made from grapes grown in the Stonewell region of Marananga in the Western Ridges of the Barossa Valley.
Winemaking
Fermented in small open fermenters using traditional techniques. Matured in 50% new French oak barrels for 24 months.
Tasting Notes
The wine wine is deep rich red in colour and displays fresh wild berry, blackberry and blackcurrant. The French oak supports with the fruit and adds a savoury spice without dominating the wine. Wine from this region are generous and opulent in their youth but also continue to develop they age.
Peak Drinking / Cellaring Potential
This wine will continue to mature until at least 2030.
